On the night Jonah Tong earned his promotion to the big leagues, the Mets’ farm system had more to celebrate – capped off by Nick Roselli’s walk-off homer for the Brooklyn Cyclones. Jacob Reimer just keeps hitting for Double-A Binghamton.

Since returning from the injured list, Waddell has struggled, giving up at least two earned runs in every outing since rejoining Syracuse’s rotation.

Jacob Reimer delivered his second straight three-hit game, driving in two runs to push his OPS to .867. The 21-year-old has emerged as one of the standouts in the Mets’ system this season. Reimer is hitting 512/.574/.927 with four home runs and 12 RBIs in his last 11 games.

A.J. Ewing had two hits in the game, raising his Double-A OPS to .886 in 13 games. Ewing was in ESPN’s updated Top 100 MLB prospects at No. 74, and Reimer was in the next 10 group.

Gordon has been a model of consistency between Brooklyn and Binghamton this season, posting ERAs of 3.06 and 3.13, respectively. The Oregon product boasts solid strikeout stuff (10.1 K/9) with a low walk rate (3.5 BB/9).

Though he scuffled on Tuesday, Banks has quietly been one of the more effective arms in the system this year. Since his promotion to High-A Brooklyn on June 20, he’s allowed just six earned runs across 20 appearances.
