MADISON (WKOW) — R.P. Adler’s Pub & Grill gave away just shy of 1,000 burgers on Tuesday. The restaurant was celebrating after the Milwaukee Brewers recent record-setting win streak.

R. P. Adler’s announced it would give customers free burgers on Tuesday if the Brewers reached their 13th win in a row. The team surpassed that, capping its win streak at 14 games. 

“We just kind of wanted to celebrate the Brewers on their historic run this season,” Mason Hein, R.P. Alder’s employee and self-identified “huge Brewers fan,” said on Tuesday. “Our regulars are very excited about it.”

Of the final tally, the restaurant told 27 News they were happy to help support the Brewers and give back to Madison fans.Â
