My personal bingo card isn’t going so great.
I had a lot of high hopes for the year. We were finally getting some sleep. We were reinvesting in hobbies. We were looking to forge new ones. And well, I got around to some.
That doesn’t mean this year has been bad, though.
The 18-30 month toddler age is a really good one – they haven’t really gotten to the talking back stage, but their personality is starting to spring forth.
I’ve done a lot of grilling, and there’s still a good couple months left to do more.
We’ve also done a ton of adult things like making a will and getting actual life insurance. None of that is fun, but they’re things we’ve been putting off.
And we’re going to be building a new house in the spring.
But the year got off to a rough start. The toddler went through the 2 year sleep regression for months. I had the “I’m not sure this is a bad thing, but it could be terrible” health situation that everyone seems to get in their 30s/40s (I’m fine). Things kind of steamrolled, and I didn’t keep my eye on various prizes.
Not unlike the Braves, I suppose. The season got off to an awful start, and while the team perked up for a bit, it’s been one of the tougher seasons I can remember in my 30+ years of watching the team.
Coming into the year, we made these resolutions and a bingo card.
Nick Allen has been fun at times, but he currently sits at 0.7. It’s not impossible, but he’ll need a hot September.
Let’s just say that won’t happen.
Well, if we were going for an anti-bingo, we’d be good. Currently sitting at 10.7%
We’re at .293, so this one is in play (ba dum cha).

We’re at 66, so we’ll come up just short here.

We’re at 147, so while its6 not impossible, I doubt it.
Oof, only 9 before he went down for the year like everyone else.

He’s at 2.2 right now, so it’s still within the realm of possibility.

We’re at 18, but we’re unsure if that’s a good thing or not.
No bingo here. None on mine, either.
But I’ve made a bit of a late-year resolution to retry getting back on pace for my board.
Atlanta should try to turn their attention to doing these for 2026.
