Francisco Alvarez’s injury-filled 2025 season just got worse.

Alvarez broke his left pinkie when he was hit by a pitch while rehabbing with Triple-A Syracuse on Wednesday night, The Post confirmed.

Alvarez told MLB.com that he still hopes to return this season, however, an exact timeline remains unclear.

Alvarez was working his way back from from a sprained ulnar collateral ligament in the right thumb. He started the season on the IL when he broke the hamate bone in his left hand.
