With a month remaining in the 2025 Major League Baseball season, the playoff races are heating up and several division races project to go down to the wire.

The Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres are locked in a back-and-forth battle atop the National League West, the Houston Astros and Seattle Mariners are going at it in the American League West and the Toronto Blue Jays will try to fight off the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees down the stretch.

The final day of the regular season is Sept. 28, with the postseason beginning two days later.
