Henry Ford committed to Tennessee on June 22 after transferring from Virginia.

The 6-foot-5, 220-pound first baseman and outfielder is on roster for Chatham in the 2025 Cape Cod Baseball League. The Anglers activated him on June 14.

From June 14-July 6, Ford played 19 games for Chatham. He recorded a .267 batting average, three home runs, 18 RBIs, eight runs, 10 walks and one stolen base. Ford started in all 19 appearances and played center field.

He has not played for Chatham since July 6 ahead of the 2025 MLB draft. The draft will begin Sunday with rounds 1-3.

Ford is the No. 73 overall prospect for the 2025 MLB draft after two seasons in college. He played in 111 games for Virginia from 2024-25.

Ford was one of four Cavaliers to start all 50 games, 34 in right field and 16 at first base, during the 2025 season. In 2024 as a freshman, he appeared in 61 games, including 61 starts, primarily at first base.

Ford recorded a .348 batting average, 28 home runs, 115 RBIs, 102 runs, 160 hits, 22 doubles, two triples, 50 walks, seven stolen bases and was hit by six pitches from 2024-25.
