MANCHESTER, N.H. (KTRE) – Former Jasper Bulldog John McMillon tossed a scoreless inning of relief in Reading’s 16-1 win over the New Hampshire Fisher Cats on Saturday.
The right-hander entered the game in the ninth inning.
McMillon made quick work of the Fisher Cats in the bottom of the ninth. He got a strikeout and two groundouts for the 1-2-3 frame. McMillon threw 11 pitches, with eight of them being strikes and lowered his ERA to 5.09.
The Fightin Phils are 43-63 on the year and return home to host the Akron RubberDucks on Tuesday.
