AKRON, OH (WBNG) — Thirty-two-year-old Reed Garrett will make a rehab start for Binghamton in Thursday night’s matchup at Akron.
Garrett was placed on the 15-day injured list Aug. 25 with right elbow inflammation.
The right-hander has appeared in 54 games for the New York Mets this season, posting a 3.61 ERA across 52 1/3 innings.
The Rumble Ponies and RubberDucks are scheduled for a 6:35 p.m. first pitch.
