ST. LOUIS, Mo. (Matrix Midwest) – The St. Louis Cardinals announced Yadier Molina will be in the dugout again this weekend for the Cardinals series with the San Francisco Giants, serving as a guest coach.
It is the second time this season Molina will be back with the Cardinals in this role. He was in the dugout at Busch Stadium for a pair of games against the Cubs last month.
This time Molina will be with the club for all three games of the series.
Molina’s guest appearance also comes as the Cardinals are set to host Hall of Fame Weekend.
The Cardinals will honor the late general manager Walt Jocketty, shortstop Edgar Renteria and longtime broadcaster and former closer Al Hrabosky.
