Carlos Rodon and the New York Yankees had a tough schedule while playing the Houston Astros in their last three-game series. The Yankees’ series finale against the Astros at Minute Maid Park had a late start at 6:40 pm. The Yankees had to fly back to New York soon to host the Blue Jays.
The hectic schedule was not something pleasant for the team after a win in Houston. Carlos Rodon’s wife Ashely Rodon took to social media to highlight the tough schedule.
“Los walking in the door from Houston 🤝🏻 me waking up to get the kids ready for school. Wild they’re allowed to do this to the team and make them play! 😱 Just play a day game…smh,” Ashley Rodon wrote.
While Ashley was sharing her thoughts on X, MLB fans called her out for cribbing about the schedule. Some fans asked her to stop whining about it, and in no time, comments flooded her post.

Rodon’s wife never held back after the backlash from fans. She dropped a fiery response to fans, calling them out again.
“Just to clarify.. has ZERO to do with quality of life and everything to do with wanting to win a MF World Series. The guys don’t need to be tired,” Carlos Rodon’s wife posted.
It was indeed a tough schedule for the Yankees. But some fans never liked the idea of Ashley voicing her opinion. The Yanks dropped Game 1 against the Blue Jays. As for Carlos Rodon, he’s been out of his slump for a long time and has been a bright spot for the team.
Rodon put up some good numbers against the Astros after surrendering only one earned run in six innings pitched. He holds a stellar 3.12 ERA with a 16-7 record and 180 strikeouts this season.
