Despite last night’s extra-inning loss, the Astros remain 3.5 games ahead of the Seattle Mariners for first in the AL West but only four games ahead of the Rangers. With a loss tonight by both the Astros and Mariners, the Rangers would move into second place behind the Astros, three games back, with four games remaining between the two teams after tonight’s game.

But….think positive. With a win, the Astros would be five games ahead of the Rangers. But the bats are going to have to start getting busy against one of baseball’s best, Jacob DeGrom.

Here’s the Houston lineup. Jake Meyers is back, hitting ninth.
