There has been no one hotter in the Cleveland Guardians minor league system this past week than Travis Bazzana. Bazzana homered for the fourth time in his last four games on Sunday, going 1-for-3 with a three-run bomb and two walks, raising his OPS to a team-leading .916.
Johnathon Rodriguez also homered for the second game in a row, going 1-for-4 with a walk and top catching prospect Cooper Ingle hit his first Triple-A home run, going 2-for-3 and also doubling and walking.
Petey Halpin had a great game as well, going 1-for-4 with two walks and two stolen bases while Christian Cairo went 2-for-5 with a stolen base and Dom Nunez went 1-for-3 with two walks.
Starting pitcher John Means struggled, allowing five runs on six hits with three strikeouts and two walks in 4.1 innings. He now sports a 7.15 ERA in his rehab starts with Columbus.
Tommy Mace followed with 1.2 scoreless innings of relief, but Trevor Stephan had another nightmare outing, this time getting shellacked for five runs on four hits, two two of those hits leaving the yard.
Tanner Burns and Parker Mushinski both pitched a scoreless inning of relief, but the comeback fell one run short.

RubberDucks improve to 74-57
Angel Genao led the way on offense, going 2-for-4 while Wuilfredo Antunez also went 2-for-4 with a double.
Christian Knapczyk also reached base safely twice, going 1-for-3 with a double and a walk while Ralphy Velazquez tripled and Jonah Advincula walked twice and stole a base.
Starting pitcher Yorman Gomez allowed three runs on four hits with six strikeouts and four walks in 4.1 innings. The bullpen was sensational as Ross Carver pitched 1.2 scoreless frames, Tyler Thornton added a scoreless inning and Matt Jachec closed things out with two scoreless innings and three strikeouts to earn his fourth save.
Lake County Captains 5, Great Lakes Loons 9
This game didn’t matter as Lake County had already sealed a postseason appearance, which begins Tuesday.
Estebon Gonzalez led the way offensively, going 2-for-4 with a home run, a double and a hit by pitch. Johnny Tincher went 2-for-5 with a double while Juan Benjamin went 1-for-3 with three walks. Bennett Thompson went 1-for-3 with a walk and a hit by pitch as well.
Starting pitcher Jackson Humphries allowed three runs (two earned) on three hits with four strikeouts and two walks in 2.2 innings.
Alonzo Richardson was blasted for six runs on five hits with three walks and just one strikeout in his 2.2 innings of work. Conner Whittaker pitched 2.2 scoreless innings and Luis Flores added a scoreless frame.
Lynchburg’s final regular season game was cancelled due to weather. Thankfully, the Hillcats also made the playoffs and they begin the divisional round Tuesday against Fredericksburg.
