Bellevue College is inviting anyone with a connection to the school to Bellevue College Night at the Mariners game on Sept. 13 at Seattle’s T-Mobile Park.
The game, which will see the Mariners taking on the Los Angeles Angels, begins at 6:40 p.m.
“This event is one of the most inclusive ways to invite Bulldogs of all ages, sports fans, and non-sports fans together,” said Bellevue College’s Alumni Relations and Programs Director Thomas Duke in a press release. “It’s an opportunity to enjoy the game, share in the excitement in what’s happening during this special Mariners season, and cap off an amazing summer in the Northwest.”
Although the event is open to alumni, students, faculty, friends, community members, and college employees, Duke said he is especially excited about the opportunity to reengage Bellevue College alumni and share more about the newly relaunched Alumni Association.
Besides alumni-focused and community-centered events, the Alumni Association is getting ready to start an Alumni Leadership Council, which would create the college’s first all-alumni advisory board.
The council will connect with the Bellevue College Foundation Board of Directors and offer alumni insights into the foundation’s priorities and goals for the college as a whole, the release noted.
Attendees will receive a limited-edition Mariners-themed Bellevue College T-shirt, all while supporting Bellevue College students. For every ticket sold, $5 will be donated to the Bellevue College Foundation, which provides scholarships and emergency funding to students.
