Georgia baseball will open SEC play in 2026 with a home series against Tennessee, the conference announced Tuesday when it released schedules for all 16 schools.

The Bulldogs’ 30-game conference slate begins March 13-15 at Foley Field against the Volunteers. Other home series include South Carolina (March 27-29), Florida (April 10-12), Missouri (May 1-3) and defending national champion LSU (May 8-10).

Georgia’s road schedule features series at Texas A&M (March 20-22), Mississippi State (April 2-4), Arkansas (April 17-19), Ole Miss (April 24-26) and Auburn (May 14-16). All dates are subject to change for television.

For the second straight season, SEC teams will play 30 total conference games, facing two permanent opponents and eight rotating opponents. Georgia’s permanent opponents are Auburn and Florida, and the Bulldogs swept both of those series last season.

The SEC Tournament is set for May 19-24 in Hoover, Alabama, with all 16 teams participating. NCAA Regional play begins May 29, followed by Super Regionals June 5-8 and the College World Series June 12-22 in Omaha, Nebraska.

Georgia head coach Wes Johnson enters his third season with the Bulldogs, who have won 86 games and reached back-to-back NCAA Tournaments during his tenure. The Bulldogs lost 10 players to the 2025 MLB Draft, including their top five starting pitchers, but reloaded with a transfer class that has been highly ranked by multiple outlets.

Top returners include junior Tre Phelps, senior Kolby Branch and junior Daniel Jackson, who combined for 37 home runs and 121 RBIs last season. Newcomers include pitchers Joey Volchko (Stanford), Dylan Vigue (Michigan), Caden Aoki (USC) and Matt Scott (Stanford), along with three incoming freshmen who were selected in the 2025 MLB Draft.

The 2026 baseball season is set to begin Feb. 13. Georgia’s nonconference games that will precede conference play will be announced later this year.
