The Arkansas Razorbacks started fall practice last week to prepare for the 2026 season, and their full schedule was released on Tuesday after the full SEC schedule was announced.

The first look at the schedule says this will be a much easier conference slate with powerhouses Texas, Tennessee, LSU, Vandy and Texas A&M not on the schedule this year.

SEC HOME SERIES

The Hogs open SEC play at home against Mississippi State on March 13. They welcome the Florida Gators to Fayetteville on March 27. After two straight series on the road, Georgia comes to town on April 17.

The Hogs end the season with two of their last three series at home. Ole Miss comes to town on May 1, and Oklahoma will be in town the following weekend. This is a good home slate. The Hogs lost a series to Florida on the road last season and will have a shot at revenge.

It will be the first opportunity for the Hogs to face the Sooners in conference play as well. Wes Johnson will make a return trip to Fayetteville in April for a series that will likely have championship implications.

After the 2025 schedule saw Arkansas take on LSU, Texas and Tennessee down the stretch, Dave Van Horn has to be excited about the Hogs chances in the SEC next season.

SEC ROAD SERIES

The Hogs first road trip will be to South Carolina on March 20. They spend two weeks straight in Alabama starting with Auburn on April 2 followed by Alabama the week after.

The Hogs travel to Missouri on April 24 and end the conference season on the road at Kentucky on May 14.

South Carolina, Missouri, and Kentucky finished in the back half of the league this past season and are easier road series. The two week stint in Alabama could be interesting and play a part in where the Hogs finish in conference. Auburn will be tough, and Alabama has a chance to be decent.

NON-CONFERENCE GAMES

Van Horn’s team will open the season in Texas once again as they will play in the College Baseball Showdown February 13-15. They will stay an extra day to face Tarleton State on February 16 before heading back to Fayetteville.

Xavier will serve as the home opener February 20-22 followed by a midweek series against Arkansas State. Stetson is the final tune up in a four-game series March 6-9. The Razorbacks will face all four in-state teams once again next season with the Hogs scheduled to play UAPB in North Little Rock on April 14.

The last midweek series will be against Northwestern State on April 28-29. Missouri State will play the Hogs in a home and home once again with the first contest being in Springfield on March 31. The second game will be in Fayetteville on April 21.

The schedule sets up nicely for the Razorbacks with new faces making up half of the starting lineup in 2026.
