The page hasn’t officially turned to the 2025 baseball season, but the book is off the shelf. On Tuesday, SEC league officials released every team’s SEC schedule, and there were some interesting choices made.

Needless to say, the 2025 Texas A&M baseball campaign was a huge disappointment. However, there were a few moments in the second half of the season when they looked like the best team in the conference. It was a little too late, and they were bounced out of the SEC tournament in a quarterfinal loss to LSU.

Following that loss, first-year head coach Michael Earley met with Texas A&M AD Trev Alberts, and the decision to retain Earley was made. That led to several mixed reactions from fans and media. With Earley being on the hot seat before the season even started, he had to make some changes, and one of the most significant was bringing in Cliff Pennington as an assistant coach. With the draft behind them, a solid transfer class, and their fall ball games scheduled, it’s all about getting his team prepared for 2026.

Below you can see the entire Aggie baseball SEC schedule.

As you can see, A&M will have a tough April, where they face four teams that are all capable of making deep postseason runs if they are gelling at the right time. There is one noticeable name missing, though: Arkansas. Considering the long and rich history that dates back to the mid-1970s, for them not to be playing each other this upcoming season is not only a missed opportunity for the fans but for college baseball, which is built on rivalries.

While disappointing, at least they still get to play Texas and LSU for added intrigue. It’s a back-to-back matchup that could be a turning point in the Aggies’ season. As we witnessed last year, preseason rankings mean little in the grand scheme of things, and without the added pressure, A&M has a blank page to start a new story.

Fans will be able to get a look at the 2026 A&M squad when they play Sam Houston on October 3 and TCU on October 10 for some fall ball action.
