Nathan Wiles, coming off of a fantastic last start that saw him go 6.1 innings with two hits and one unearned run takes the mount for the Gwinnett Stripers who look to take another game from the Charlotte Knights after yesterday’s great 7-4 win. Players to watch include Jarred Kelenic, who went 1-for-4 with a double raising his OPS to .817. Carlos Rodriguez enjoyed a multi-hit game yesterday and is hitting .286 on the season. James McCann went 3-for-3 with 5 RBI yesterday and looks to continue his strong season with the Gwinnett Stripers as he is now hitting .307/.341/.507 in 21 games.

Ethan Workinger continued his torrid on-base stretch going 0-for-2 with a walk yesterday and is now hitting .270/.345/.610 on the season. He typically hits second with on-base machine David McCabe, who is hitting .274/.419/.411 on the season, typically hitting behind him. Drew Compton has slowly started to turn around a rough start of the season and went 1-for-4 with a walk yesterday. Other players to watch include Cal Conley, and Geraldo Quintero who went 2-for-4 and has his OPS now up to .754 after an extremely slow start to the season.

Two of the top teams in the South Atlantic League continue their series with Herick Hernandez taking the mound. The Emperors fell yesterday 10-8 to the Grasshoppers so are out for revenge. The trio of Luis Espinoza, Patrick Clohisy, and Titus Dumitru atop the Rome lineup have continued to set the tone for the offense and continue to be players to watch. EJ Exposito, Bryson Horne, and Ambioris Tavarez towards the back half of the lineup will be players to be monitored as well.

The GreenJackets are out for revenge after falling to the Fireflies 3-1 last night. Behind him continues to be a must watch lineup featuring John Gil, Owen Carey, Eric Hartman, Nick Montgomery, and Isaiah Drake at the top of the lineup.

Rudit Pina makes his second start of the season for the FCL Braves. Players to watch on that team include José Devers, on a rehab assignment, Jose Perdomo, and Junior Garcia. Bigger bonus international free agent Carlos Monteverde, and Mario Baez are two more to keep an eye on.
