NEW YORK – Due to a rainy forecast, Sunday’s 1:35 p.m. afternoon game at Yankee Stadium was pushed to a 2:05 p.m. start.

The tarp was rolled onto the field at about 12:30 p.m. prior to the Rays-Yankees series finale, with Taj Bradley scheduled to pitch for Tampa Bay and Will Warren going for the Yanks.

Preparations to get the field ready for play began at about 1:20 p.m., though periods of rain remained in Sunday’s forecast.
