The Texas A&M softball team experienced some of the highest highs last season and the lowest lows, which ended in a heartbreaking upset loss to Liberty at the Bryan-College Station regional. On Wednesday, SEC league officials released every team’s SEC schedule, and the Aggie softball team is ready to prepare for the 2026 season.
Coach Trisha Ford is entering her third year, and with a team full of her recruits, it will be crucial for them to take the next step as a program. They have improved each year, but last season was a tough pill to swallow with a lot of lessons learned. When we spoke with standout infielder Mya Perez, she expressed that the team is ready to move forward:
“I think we’re all pretty upset about what happened. But we don’t even need to hear a message to know that we just got to work. She’s (Coach Ford) ready for next season. We’re all ready. We’re just ready to move on from that game last season.”
Below you can see the entire Aggie softball SEC schedule.
There are several new faces, and they have an exciting conference schedule that includes the 2025 national champion Texas Longhorns and perennial NCAA powerhouse Oklahoma. The fall ball schedule has not been released yet, so until then, the Aggie softball team will be on the grind.
