Pecko got the start for Sugar Land and allowed 2 runs over 5 innings while striking out 9. He was relieved by Mancini who tossed 3 scoreless innings in his Triple-A debut. The Sugar Land offense struggled collecting just 5 hits as they were shutout in the 2-0 loss.

Nezuh started for the Hooks and allowed 1 run over 2 innings. In the bottom of the second inning, the Hooks got on the board on a Bush 2 run HR. They picked up another run in the 3rd inning on a Sullivan RBI single. The Hooks pen struggled with David allowing 4 runs and Chirinos allowed 2 runs. The offense was quiet the rest of the way as the Hooks fell 8-3.
