The Bryce Eldridge Era officially has arrived, and Giants fans couldn’t be more excited.
San Francisco is calling up its top prospect, and the slugging first baseman will join the team in Arizona on Monday, sources confirmed to NBC Sports Bay Area’s Alex Pavlovic on Sunday night.
Front office had been hesitant all summer, but Dom Smith is out a couple of weeks and they just had a very quiet weekend offensively. Eldridge isn’t the type to be bothered by a playoff race and there should be plenty of at-bats. Giants will face five righties on this road trip. https://t.co/Q0V3JRnJdL

Giants fans have been waiting for Eldridge to join the big-league club, and with an MLB playoff berth in the team’s sights, the news certainly was welcomed as they celebrated on social media.
In calling up Bryce Eldridge, the #SFGiants are sending a message to their roster — they’re going for it. It’s an aggressive push, but he’s their best option.

I love the call up for Eldridge. The AAA season is almost over. You want him to get more reps anyways. Why not call him up to face the DBacks who have a bad pitching staff. #SFGiants

The only reason I’m watching the rest of the season is because Bryce freaking Eldridge just got called up!

San Francisco’s series against the Diamondbacks certainly is one that Giants fans don’t want to miss.
What a time to be alive.
