According to multiple reports, the San Francisco Giants are calling up former top Alabama Crimson Tide baseball commit Bryce Eldridge to make his highly anticipated MLB debut.

Coming out of high school, Eldridge was considered as the biggest name in Alabama’s 2023 recruiting class, but would never play for the Crimson Tide after he was selected with the No. 16 overall pick in the first round of the MLB draft.

Also included in that Alabama 2023 recruiting class were other notable names such as Justin Lebron, Zane Adams, and Matthew Heiberger, among others.

Since beginning his professional career, Eldridge has emerged as one of baseball’s top first base prospects, and is currently considered as the No. 1 overall prospect in the Giants system, per MLB. Eldridge is also the No. 13 overall prospect in the sport.
