LANSING, Mich. (WILX) – Since 2012, the Michigan State baseball team has taken part in an annual Miracle League fall game in Lansing, with Spartan players acting as “buddies” to a team of 5- to 19-year-old physically and mentally challenged youngsters who make this game one of their highlights of the year.
The Miracle League of Mid-Michigan is an organization that believes baseball is for everyone and works to help people with physical and cognitive challenges enjoy this great game.
The game on Monday evening was another smashing success that produced many smiles and many more memories.
