Ken Rosenthal apologizes after knocking down Brewers photographer Scott Paulus on live TV
Ken Rosenthal said on the show Foul Territory that the whole thing was an accident. He was moving out of the way while Brewers players dumped water on Andruw Monasterio, the team’s hero of the night. Rosenthal explained, “I was surprised when I saw the video because I looked angry, but really, I was confused. We were live on national television, and I had to keep going with the interview.”After the game, Rosenthal went to Paulus and apologized several times. He said, “I felt awful. I don’t expect knocking someone down in any situation, and I wanted Scott to know I was sorry.” Rosenthal also pointed out that he and Paulus have worked together many times in the Brewers’ photo pit over the years.Former MLB catcher A.J. Pierzynski, who was also on the broadcast, joked that Rosenthal looked like Muhammad Ali standing over Sonny Liston.
