Baltimore Orioles General Manager Mike Elias has to come to terms with the fact that the sabermetrics concepts he basically introduced to the O’s were his brainchild, and he is very much responsible for what has transpired this season (“Elias is single-handedly destroying the Orioles,” April 28).
The Orioles organization has collapsed with a deadening thud. Sadly, Orioles fans must begin their mental preparation to brace themselves for yet another rebuild.
