What a difference a year makes for the Chicago White Sox.

After a tumultuous 2024 season that saw them lose an MLB record of 121 games, the arrow has started pointing up on the South side, and a big reason for that has been player development at the big league level.

The White Sox have added plenty of talent with names like Colson Montgomery, Edgar Cerro, Chase Myrath, and Kyle Teel.

But they’ve also had players coming with top prospects like Braden Montgomery, Noah and Hagen Smith.

Now, there’s still a lot of room for growth on the South Side, and the White Sox still are gonna have a losing season in 2025.

But with some of the progress they’ve made in 2025, 2026 looks like a season where the White Sox could take another step forward and look closer to getting to their first winning season in four years.
