Hello and welcome back to FanPost Friday. It’s about that time to check the MBI (Mariners Belief Index, patent pending). I think it’s a good time to get an accurate reading after the Mariners mostly got their teeth kicked in at home by the AL East’s most dastardly teams. The team remains in first place by half a game, but now head to San Diego for another tough series with some less than ideal starting pitching match-ups.

Before we get to the MBI, this poll from last week’s post just goes to show how perplexing the batter’s eye/glare/death to hitters issues are at T-Mobile Park. I’ve been saying for years it’s gotta go, just start over. It has lasted longer than the Kingdome, that’s good enough, y’all.
A tie for “make it perpendicular” and “I have no idea” is amazing to me.
