MILWAUKEE (WLUK) — Brewers fans can get ready for the playoffs with — what else? — a pocket pancake breakfast at American Family Field.

The team is holding the event on Sept. 26 from 6-9 a.m. in the stadium parking lots. The event pays tribute to an interview Brewers manager Pat Murphy did during a game in August when he pulled a pancake out of his pocket and ate it on live TV.

Fans can get a free sleeve of pancakes in a drive-thru or in a breakfast tent.

There will be a breakfast tent featuring the Tally Ho Polka Band and pancake artist Dancakes.

Fans can also get a taste of Murph’s Maple, a special edition syrup which will be available for purchase, with proceeds going to charity.

Special guests slated to flip pancakes are Murphy, Brewers legend Robin Yount, Green Bay Packers hall of famer Donald Driver and former Wisconsin Badgers and NFL player Derek Watt. Badgers basketball player Andrew Rohde, Appleton native and former Badgers basketball player Brian Butch are also scheduled to appear.

Brewers broadcaster Tim Dillard will host special guests on stage throughout the morning.

The first 3,000 fans in attendance will receive a Pocket Pancake t-shirt.

Fans should enter through the north gate of the Yount Lot along Selig Drive.
