BALTIMORE – Already MLB’s active leader in home runs, Giancarlo Stanton reached another milestone on Saturday night.
Stanton’s first inning, three-run shot to right off Orioles’ starter Tomoyuki Sugano was the Yankees slugger’s 450th career home run.

That moved Stanton past Hall of Famers Vladimir Guerrero and Jeff Bagwell for sole possession of 41st place on MLB’s all-time home run list.
Stanton’s 21st homer of the year gave the Yankees an early 3-0 lead at Camden Yards on Saturday, the 1,719th game of Stanton’s career.
That makes Stanton the fifth fastest player, in terms of games, to reach 450 home runs – behind only Mark McGwire, Babe Ruth, Alex Rodriguez and Harmon Killebrew.
With Stanton’s home run, the Yankees increased their MLB team lead with 260 home runs in 2025.
