Since the Milwaukee Brewers already clinched a postseason berth and October baseball is just around the corner, the team has announced a Pocket Pancake Breakfast for fans to enjoy with manager Pat Murphy and other special guests.The pocket pancake craze began on Aug. 1 when Brewers manager Pat Murphy pulled out a pancake from his pocket during an in-game interview.It will be held Sept. 26 from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. in the Uecker and Yount parking lots at American Family Field. Since then, the Brewers have been selling pancakes on certain days at the ballpark.There’s two ways fans can enjoy the celebration, either under a breakfast tent, or through a convenient drive-thru. Under the breakfast tent, fans can enjoy a sleeve of complimentary pocket pancakes while enjoying polka music and watching the artistic creations from pancake artist, Dancakes.There will also be special guests in attendance at the tent. Along with Brewers manager Pat Murphy, Brewers legend and Hall of Famer Robin Yount, Packers legend Donald Driver, and former Wisconsin Badgers and NFL player Derek Watt will also be prepping the pancakes. UW-Madison basketball player Andrew Rohde and alum Brian Butch will also be joining the fun. Former Brewer and broadcaster, Tim Dillard, will host with the special guests on stage throughout the morning.Those who go through the drive-thru can enjoy a sleeve of pocket pancakes and be greeted by Bernie Brewer, Barrelman, the Famous Racing Sausages, and other mascots from around the state.The first 3,000 fans will also receive an exclusive Brewers Pocket Pancake T-shirt.The Brewers and manager Pat Murphy will also be debuting “Murph’s Maple” syrup. The syrup will be available at the breakfast for purchase in a specially designed bottle. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to a charity.Brewers postseason tickets will be available onsite for purchase. Tickets to individual games for the first round of the postseason will be available starting at 10 a.m. on Sept. 23 at brewers.com/postseason, 800-933-7890, or at the American Family Field Box Office.
