Colleyville Heritage 4-8, El Paso Americas 5- 7: Regan Kelley hit a walk-off two-run single to lift Colleyville Heritage past El Paso Americas in Game 3 of the regional semifinals.

Heritage (22-11-1) trailed 7-6 in the bottom of the seventh inning before Kelley’s clutch hit secured the win.

Logan Rose, Jobe Reed and Grant Rhodes each drove in runs in the first inning, giving Heritage an early 4-1 lead. But El Paso Americas rallied with four runs in the sixth to take control.

El Paso outhit Heritage 11-10, and Heritage committed three errors compared to none for Americas. However, Heritage’s strong first and seventh innings propelled them to the regional finals.

Earlier in the day, El Paso defeated Heritage 5-4. Rose tied for the team lead in RBIs (one) and hits (two) in the loss.

Argyle 3-0, Lubbock-Cooper 0-3: Argyle was shut out in Game 3 against Lubbock-Cooper after winning Game 2 earlier Friday.

The Game 3 loss eliminated Argyle in the regional semifinals. Lubbock-Cooper limited Argyle to just six hits over the final two games of the series.

Argyle’s Grady Emerson, the top-ranked player in the 2026 class, went hitless in the last two games but drew three walks in four plate appearances without striking out.

In Game 2, Argyle’s Brody Bomar recorded 21 outs with six strikeouts while allowing just two hits in seven innings pitched. Argyle used two pitchers in Game 3, who combined for only strikeouts.

Grapevine 5, Wylie 0: Grapevine completed its sweep of Wylie in Game 2 after not allowing a run for the second straight game.

The reigning Class 5A state champions were led by LSU commit Luke Esquivel and Jarrett Boswell, who combined for three of Grapevine’s six hits.

Boswell, the state championship game MVP, drew a bases-loaded walk in the first inning to give Grapevine (31-3) an early lead.

Esquivel, a freshman, had two hits, two runs and one RBI. Grapevine has now won 19 of its last 20 games. The team’s loss to Joshua in the area round was its only defeat in the playoffs.

Catcher Gianni Corral went 4 for 7 with one RBI in the best-of-three series.

Southlake Carroll 3, Denton Guyer 2: Southlake Carroll completed its sweep of Denton Guyer in Game 2 of the regional semifinals when Tanner Carson’s sixth-inning sacrifice fly broke a 2-2 tie.

Tennessee signee Ethan Baiotto struck out 10 while allowing two runs and six hits in six innings. McLennan College commit Carson recorded two strikeouts in a scoreless relief appearance for Carroll (30-7-1).

Ashton Ybarra and Camden Dean each had two hits for Carroll, with Dean driving in a team-high two runs and drawing a walk.

The Dragons extended their winning streak to six games heading into the regional finals.

Flower Mound Marcus 6, Byron Nelson 2: Flower Mound Marcus avoided elimination and forced a decisive Game 3 on Saturday against Byron Nelson in their regional semifinal series.

Marcus took control with a five-run fifth inning. Grady Fackler’s two-run single started the scoring, followed by Jameson Mayfield getting hit by a pitch with the bases loaded. Three more runs scored when Easton Mitchell grounded into a fielder’s choice.

Despite managing just two hits, Marcus capitalized on Byron Nelson errors. Three Marcus pitchers combined for six strikeouts while allowing only four hits.

Lovejoy 2, Midlothian Heritage 0: Lovejoy limited Midlothian Heritage to four hits in Friday night’s shutout victory, forcing a decisive Game 3 in their regional semifinal series.

The win marked Lovejoy’s (28-6) 10th victory in its last 11 games, rebounding from Thursday’s 1-0 loss to Heritage (27-7) — the first time Lovejoy had been shut out in 22 games.

Dylan Sparks broke the scoreless tie with an RBI single in the fourth inning. Starter Tyler Scarborough dominated with eight strikeouts while allowing just two walks and four hits in 6â…” innings.
