Twins pitcher Pablo López has once again been placed on the injured list as the Twins enter their last stretch of games this season.
López has been placed on the 15-day injured list with a mild mid-right forearm strain.
This is his third stint on the injured list this season after missing time in April with a right hamstring strain and from June 5 to Sept. 5 with a Grade 2 strain of the teres major muscle in his throwing shoulder.
In 14 starts this season, López went 5-4 with a 2.74 ERA, 20 walks, 73 strikeouts and a 1.11 WHIP.
To replace López on the 28-man roster, the team recalled Mick Abel from the Triple-A St. Paul Saints, who made two appearances for the Twins in late August.
The Twins will finish up their last home games of the year against the Cleveland Guardians this weekend, before ending the season with two away series against the Texas Rangers and Philadelphia Phillies.
