What is a lot less clear is the American League Central, which I will have the pleasure and privilege to watch this week as the Detroit Tigers come to Northeast Ohio to progress the field and play 3 games, which are technically regular season games, but my goodness, they will not feel that way.

But my goodness, they will not feel that way.

And starting with Terry Sco tomorrow, I am so excited.

So to see how the Tigers respond to what has been an epic capitulation and potentially, again, there’s, there’s still time, there’s still time to, to make this a weird footnote and win the division and make us forget about how awful this has been in the last few months, but it’s, it is gonna be real dicey and I am excited to watch it.

You can rewind to any point.

Over the last couple of months and pick a point and be like, on this date, the Tigers were this far ahead of the Guardians, right?

Um, 15.5 was the max, but I want to rewind all the way back to a freaking goddamn week ago when the Tigers, a week ago, a week ago, had a 6.5 game lead.

A 6.5 game lead over the Guardians in the Central a week ago.

That lead is now gone.

Last week, the Guardians swept the Tigers in Detroit, and this weekend, the Guardians took 3 out of 4 over the Twins in Minnesota, while the Tigers were swept at home by the Atlanta Braves, who are hot right now, it must be said.

And now it’s one game.

Now it’s one game.

The Tigers lost again.

They have lost, I believe, 6 in a row, 7 in a row.

It feels like 50.

6 in a row, uh, 9 of their last 10.

And as you mentioned, uh, it was not, it was not pretty.
