Todd Rosiak, Milwaukee Brewers beat reporter for the Journal Sentinel, recently fielded questions from readers, who seem to frequently have prospects on their minds. Rosiak and beat partner Curt Hogg will take a deeper look at the team’s top prospects in the offseason, but here are a few of Rosiak’s early thoughts after one reader asked about Jesús Made, Cooper Pratt and Jeferson Quero in particular.
Todd Rosiak: Made had a Jackson Chourio-like ascent through the minors in 2025, starting at Class A Carolina, moving to advanced Class A Wisconsin for a month and then finishing at Class AA Biloxi – a terrific showing in his first full professional season. That said, at least another season in the minors is in the cards for Made, who won’t even turn 19 until next May.

Pratt is closer than Made and continues to earn raves for his makeup and IQ, and a promotion next season to Class AAA Nashville would certainly appear likely.
Quero is as highly regarded as Pratt, but the catcher is going to need more seasoning with injuries limiting him to just 68 games since 2023.
You want a prospect promotion? How about Brock Wilken? The 2023 first-rounder has had awful luck with injuries the past two seasons at Biloxi but has tremendous power and plays a position of (relative) need at third base. If he can make more strides with his swing decisions and show well at Nashville whenever he gets there, Wilken could be a player to watch.
Here’s a look back at how the Journal Sentinel ranked the top prospects in the organization at midseason this year, as well as how they were evaluated heading into the 2025 season.
