PONAGANSET— Leadoff batter Erin O’Leary (2 hits, 2 runs, 2 RBI) had a two-run double in the second inning and Chariho behind dominant pitching from Adrianna Jeannenot rolled to a 11-1 victory over Ponaganset.
Anna Tretton went 2-for-3 with three runs scored and a RBI, Ella Alves had two hits and three RBI and Brianna DeGiacomo had two hits, with a run scored and two RBI to highlight the offense for the Chargers (11-5), who have won seven out of their last eight games.
Jeannenot struck out 15, allowed four hits and walked none. The only run from the Chieftians (4-10) came in the fifth inning.
Chariho hosts Westerly on Sunday.
