It’s a party in Seattle as the Mariners are back in the MLB playoffs for only the second time since 2001.
Behind an 88-plus win season and home run-hitting heroics of Cal Raleigh, the Mariners are primed for a playoff run as they currently hold the No. 2 spot in the American League. Seattle leads Houston by four games with five to play and holds the tiebreaker over the Astros, so a division title could be clinched as early as Wednesday night.
While we don’t know yet whether the Mariners will be playing in the Wild Card round or enjoying a bye straight to the ALDS, playoff baseball will be electric at T-Mobile Park.
With Seattle fans ready for postseason success once again, the time is now to secure playoff tickets. Check back as Seattle’s playoff scenarios, and ticket prices continue to update during the final week of the MLB season.

Seattle Mariners 2025 MLB playoff scenarios
The Mariners have already clinched a playoff spot, but could still end the season as any seed in the American League all the way from No. 1 to No. 6 depending on the results from the final week of the season. If Seattle holds off the Houston Astros for the AL West crown and the No. 2 seed, they will earn a bye and homefield for at least the ALDS round. If the team ends as the No. 4 seed, they will play the No. 5 seed and be the home team in the best-of-3 Wild Card series, while starting the ALDS on the road team if they were to advance.
Seattle Mariners 2025 Wild Card Tickets
The Mariners’ most likely scenario is to finish as the No. 2 seed and host three ALDS games. If they fall to the No. 3 or No. 4 seed in the American League, they will still be the home team in a Wild Card series. Here are the ticketing options for each Wild Card home game:
Seattle Mariners 2025 ALDS Tickets
In the most likely case of the Mariners keeping the No. 2 seed, they’d begin their playoff hunt in the American League Divisional Series. With Seattle entering as the higher seed, they would host Game 1 and a Game 2 and 5 should the series require a fifth game. If Seattle is the lower seed, they would host Game 3 and a hypothetical Game 4 as long as the series didn’t end in a sweep.
Seattle Mariners ALCS Tickets
If the Mariners advance to the American League Championship Series, it becomes a best-of-seven game series with the winner heading to the World Series. If the Mariners are the favorite, they will host Games 1, 2, 5 and 7. In the more likely scenario that the Mariners are the lower seed, they will start the series on the road and would host Games 3, 4 and 6.
Seattle Mariners World Series tickets
Should the Mariners make the World Series, homefield advantage goes to the team with the better regular-season record. Its not the most likely scenario given the best teams in the National League have higher win totals, but if the Mariners have a better regular-season record, they would host Games 1, 2 and hypothetical Games 5 and 7. If not, they would host Games 3, 4 and then Game 6 should the series require it. Either way, imagine a World Series atmosphere in Seattle and we dare you not to buy your tickets now.
