Season series: Phillies lead 7-4
The Marlins picked up a 6-5 win in 11 innings Tuesday in the series opener, cashing as huge underdogs (+185) as the Over (7.5) came through. Philadelphia took a 3-0 lead through the first 2 innings, but Miami scored 2 runs in the final 2 frames to force extra innings. The Marlins scored 3 in extras, while the Phillies scored 2, coming up just short.

Miami has won 7 in a row, and 11 of the past 12 games, while the Over is 5-2 in the past 7 games and 10-4 in the past 14 outings.
In Tuesday’s loss, the Phillies saw DH Kyle Schwarber sock his 54th homer, a solo shot, while 1B Otto Kemp went 1-for-4 with a homer and 2 RBIs.

Marlins at Phillies picks and predictionsPrediction
Phillies 4, Marlins 3
The Phillies (-200) will cost you 2 times your potential return, and that’s way too much risk for not enough reward on a singular bet.
As far as a parlay — or perhaps using a boost or promo — that makes a Philadelphia play a little more manageable.
PASS, and look to the run line instead.
If you don’t trust the underdogs, but you want some insurance, MARLINS +1.5 (-130) is a solid play.
Miami has been on fire lately, and really, a Weathers-Luzardo pitching matchup is rather neutral. The difference here, or at least it should be, is venue. Of course, that didn’t matter much in Tuesday’s win by the visitors.
UNDER 7.5 (-110) is the lean, but go with a half-unit play at best.
We had an Over result Tuesday, but the Under has a slight 2-1 edge in the past 3 games. For Weathers, the Under has a 4-3 edge in 7 starts for the Miami southpaw.
For the Phillies, while the Over is 11-2 in the past 13 games, the Under has cashed 3 times in the past 4 starts by Luzardo.
