SAN DIEGO – The Milwaukee Brewers close out their regular-season road slate on Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 24 as they try to avoid being swept by the San Diego Padres at Petco Park.
Right-hander Chad Patrick (3-8, 3.66) starts for the Brewers in place of the originally scheduled Quinn Priester, who now will start Friday. Right-hander Dylan Cease (8-12, 4.64) counters for the Padres.

Before the game, Milwaukee recalled right-hander Carlos Rodriguez from Class AAA Nashville and designated left-hander Bruce Zimmermann, who made the spot start in the 7-0 loss on Sept. 23, for assignment.
