1963 – First no-no

In a game against the Philadelphia Phillies, Colt .45s pitcher Don Nottebart threw the first no-hitter in franchise history, helping them to a 4-1 win in Philly. To go along with the no hits, Nottebart also walked three and struck out eight.

1990 – Eric Anthony reached the stars

Houston Astros outfielder Eric Anthony became the first player to hit a ball into the upper reserve seats of the Astrodome with a monster, eighth-inning bomb during a 5-4 win over the Chicago Cubs.

2022 – Astros bomb their way into history

During a blowout win in Fenway against the Boston Red Sox, the Astros tied an MLB record, hitting five home runs in one inning to help lead to a 13-4 win. All five were hit off pitcher Nathan Eovaldi and the barrage was all started by Yordan Alvarez.
