MILWAUKEE — Fans from across the state flocked to American Family Field Thursday morning for the Milwaukee Brewers “Postseason Pocket Pancake Breakfast.”

“On the road at 5 a.m. from Oshkosh this morning,” fan Bob Best told WTMJ’s Nazir Spencer. “It’s a special event and we just wanted to be part of the fun.”

Also some special guests flipping flap jacks on the griddle.

“It’s great to see the support for the Brewers, that’s what it is all about,” Brewers manager Pat Murphy told WTMJ.

“I’ll be honest, I’m big on waffles because that’s what I grew up with,” Green Bay Packers legend Donald Driver told WTMJ. “But it’s a pancake event and I’m going to have fun cooking up pancakes.”

Murph’s Pocket Pancakes enjoyed a public debut on August 1 when the Brewers manager pulled the quirky midgame snack out of his uniform during an on-air interview in a game versus the Washington Nationals.

The first 3,000 fans also received an exclusive Pocket Pancake T-shirt.
