CLEVELAND — The Guardians have been knocking on the door of the postseason for a few days now — they have a chance to break it down Saturday, Sept. 27 at Progressive Field.

The Guardians entered the day with a magic number of two to win the AL Central and one to earn at least a playoff berth. A Detroit Tigers loss and a Cleveland win would secure the division. A Guardians win or an Astros loss would punch Cleveland’s ticket to the postseason.
