Josh Smith and his wife Claire’s first child has arrived, the couple announced on their social media.
Smith was placed on the paternity list ahead of the Rangers‘ season-ending series in Cleveland against the Guardians. Smith, Corey Seager and Marcus Semien didn’t make the trip to Cleveland with the team. Semien is dealing with a foot injury and Seager and his wife are also expecting their first child soon.
Smith and his wife had previously announced that the baby is a girl, but they have not yet released the child’s name.
