Top Pitching Performance of the Week

Tobias Myers and Chad Patrick both put together solid weeks for Milwaukee as their roles heading into the postseason are a little clearer at this point. Myers ate five innings across two relief appearances, allowing just one run on a solo homer and striking out two. Patrick was even better, spanning four innings across a start and a relief outing, allowing no runs on two hits and three walks with eight strikeouts. Honorable mention to Freddy Peralta, who wrapped up a great season with nine more strikeouts, pushing him across the 200-strikeout mark for the third consecutive season.

Top Hitting Performance of the Week

It was a fairly quiet week overall offensively for the Crew, as they totaled just 16 runs across their six games this week, totaling three homers as a team. But Danny Jansen, who struggled for the first six-ish weeks with Milwaukee, had a great week, leading the team with five hits, including a pair of homers, and finishing with a .500/.615/1.100 line across 13 plate appearances (10 at-bats). Not too shabby for the Wisconsin kid.

Honorable mention to Jackson Chourio, who hit the only other homer this week and added three steals to finish with his second consecutive 20-20 season at age 21. His season numbers end up at .270/.308/.463 with 21 homers, 21 steals, 78 RBIs, and 88 runs.
