Toronto Blue Jays fans will be hearing familiar voices on the Sportsnet broadcast throughout the playoffs.

The Blue Jays won their first division title since 2015 on Sunday, and will advance straight to the ALDS, where they’ll await the winner of a Wild-Card series between the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees.

Once the ALDS gets underway, the usual broadcast crew of Dan Shulman, Buck Martinez, and Hazel Mae will call the Blue Jays games and will continue to do so for as long as they remain in the playoffs.

Shulman confirmed the news via social media on Sunday.

That’s good news for Blue Jays fans, who were largely frustrated this past Friday when a pivotal game aired exclusively on Apple TV. Shulman, Martinez, and Mae weren’t featured on that broadcast.

Sportsnet hasn’t always had their own broadcasters calling postseason games. As recently as 2016, the TBS broadcast aired on Canadian television.

Thanks to clinching the division title, the Blue Jays will get a well-deserved break, with the ALDS set to begin on Saturday, Oct. 4. The first two games of the best-of-five series will take place at Rogers Centre, as will Game 5 if necessary.

While the playoffs are always a different game, the Jays have had success against both the Yankees and Red Sox this season, with 8-5 records in each of their respective season series.
