GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – Shoeless Joe Jackson Museum and Baseball Library in downtown Greenville is being named one of the best in the United States.
The museum has been named the “Best Baseball Museum of 2025″ by the Newsweek Fans’ Choice Awards.
The recognition highlights the museum’s dedication to preserving and sharing the life, legacy and impact of Shoeless Joe Jackson who was a Pickens County native.
Earlier this year, the MLB commissioner made a move that opens the doors for Jackson to be considered for the National Baseball Hall of Fame.
The museum says the national honor is not only for them but for Greenville and baseball fans everywhere.
