TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – Kaelen Culpepper has been named the Minnesota Twins’ 2025 Minor League Player of the Year.
The former Kansas State star was drafted 21st overall in 2024 and reached Double-A by June.
He represented the Twins at the All-Star Futures Game and earned Texas League All-Star honors. In his first season with Wichita, Culpepper hit .289 with 20 home runs and 25 stolen bases.
At K-State, he led the Wildcats to a Super Regional in 2024 and earned All-America honors. A three-time All-Big 12 pick, Culpepper finished his college career with 26 home runs and 122 RBI.
From college standout to pro rising star, Culpepper is already making his mark in the Twins’ system.
