It’s just a bit more satisfying when a farm system prominently features homegrown talent rather than relying on players who were acquired by selling off productive members of the major league roster. Initially, Peter Bendix revitalized the Miami Marlins’ pipeline via trade, losing a lot of games in the process. The 2025 season was a significant turning point with more on-field success across all levels, heavily driven by former Marlins draft picks and international signings.
