LOS ANGELES, Ca–The Los Angeles Angels are looking for a new manager, and the team’s owner says it’s Albert Pujols’ job if he wants it.

Ken Rosenthal is reporting that owner Arte Moreno’s top choice is the former Cardinals and Angels slugger.

And MLB Network is reporting that Pujols will interview for the job.

Albert Pujols played 22 years in the bigs mostly with St. Louis and the Angels, he also played for the Dodgers.

After retiring with 703 career home runs, Pujols has slowly moved to the coaching side of the game.

Pujols managed a Dominican team to the Caribbean Series title earlier this season.

Current Angel Mike Trout said he would love to play for Pujols.
