The Minnesota Twins (26-20) and the Milwaukee Brewers (21-25) wrap up a 3-game interleague series Sunday at American Family Field in Milwaukee. First pitch is scheduled for 2:10 p.m. ET. Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s MLB odds around the Twins vs. Brewers odds and make our expert MLB picks and predictions for the best bets.

Season series: Twins lead 2-0

The Twins racked up a 13th consecutive victory Saturday, topping the Brewers 7-0. That’s back-to-back shutout victories, as Minnesota topped Milwaukee 3-0 in Friday’s interleague series opener.

On Saturday, RHP Pablo Lopez twirled 6 scoreless frames, allowing just 2 hits and 2 walks with 6 strikeouts to improve to 4-2, while lowering his ERA to 2.40. The Twins had 3 other relievers combine for the shutout.

Twins DH Ryan Jeffers cracked a solo homer, while also posting 2 singles and a double in 5 at-bats with 2 runs scored. 2B Koby Clemens went 3 for 5 with a solo shot, his third homer of the season, while posting 2 runs scored and an RBI. OF Trevor Larnach had his first triple of the season, finishing up 2-for-5 with 2 runs scored.

The Brewers were limited to just 3 hits, with 2B Brice Turang collected 2 of them. He finished 2-for-3 with a walk and stolen base, but apparently everybody else forgot their hitting shoes.

Milwaukee has dropped 4 of the past 5 games, and oddly enough, all 4 of the losses are by way of a shutout. The Brewers have dropped 7 of the past 9 games, too, while the total has gone low in 11 of the 13 contests since May 3.

The Twins confirmed top pitching prospect RHP Zebby Matthews is being recalled to start Sunday, in place of the struggling RHP Simeon Woods Richardson, who has a 5.02 ERA and 1.54 WHIP and was demoted to Triple A.

Brewers 3, Twins 1

The BREWERS (-160) are worth a look in the interleague series finale Sunday.

The Twins are using their top pitching prospect, Matthews, who has dominated at Triple-A Saint Paul this season. However, last season, he struggled in his taste of the majors in 9 starts. Peralta has posted a lot of donuts at home, and the Twins are due for a loss after winning 13 in a row. Facing a pitcher like Peralta will finally send the Twins to the loss column.

The BREWERS -1.5 (+140) are a solid play if you’re a little more adventurous. It’s tough to back a team struggling to score runs. In fact, that’s an understatement, as Milwaukee has been blanked 4 times in the past 5 games, going 1-4 in those outings. The Brewers are facing a top pitching prospect, but they should be in good shape with their ace on the hill.

UNDER 8 (-125) is a strong play in this pitching matchup between Matthews and Peralta.

The Under has cashed in 7 of the past 8 games for the Brewers, with Milwaukee plating 3 or fewer runs in 7 of the past 9 contests. Milwaukee has hit the Under at an 11-2 clip in the past 13 games since May 3.

For the Twins, the Under has cashed in 3 in a row, shutting out the Brewers in each of the first 2 games of this interleague series. The Under has cashed at a 7-3 clip in the past 10 games, while going 14-6 across the past 20 contests.
