With their season on the line and a matchup with the Seattle Mariners on the line, the Guardians turn to starting pitcher Slade Cecconi in Game 3 of their series against the Detroit Tigers.

Cecconi is coming off a 7-7 regular season where he had a 4.30 ERA and 109 strikeouts in 132 innings pitched.

The Tigers will go with Jack Flaherty to start the game. The veteran pitcher was 8-15 this season with an ERA of 4.64 and 188 strikeouts in 161 innings pitched.

The Guardians beat Flaherty twice in September and once in June.

Game 3 is set for Wednesday, with first pitch scheduled for 3:08 p.m. at Progressive Field. Here’s how to watch the Guardians against the Tigers:
